People’s Trust Insurance, a Florida-based home insurance company, has partnered with Mendez & Associates Insurance, Broward Latin American Association of Insurance Agencies (LAAIA), and LifeNet4Families for a two month long canned food drive for people in Broward County that are homeless, impoverished and in need of food. Donated items will go directly to those who need it the most through LifeNet4Families.
LifeNet4Families, a Broward County charitable organization, serves more than 90,000 meals annually to individuals and their families. LifeNet’s mission is to provide food and nutrition, promote health and well-being, and enable sustainability to those within Broward County.
For several years the Broward LAAIA has made LifeNet4Families their charity of choice. From canned food collections to clothing drives, Life4NetFamilies works year-round to provide much-needed support and supplies to families in need.
Chief Executive Officer and President of People’s Trust Insurance, George Schaeffer said, “At People’s Trust we are eager to help those within our community, collaborating with local organizations to achieve this goal is such a great honor.” People’s Trust partnered with Life4NetFamilies in 2019 for a clothing drive where over 600 pounds of clothing was donated for families in need.
