DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – People’s Trust Insurance, one of Florida’s top 10 home insurance companies, was awarded by the Insurance Marketing and Communications Association’s (IMCA) two coveted Award of Excellence and one Best of Show awards for having some of the most effective and innovative work in insurance marketing and communications. People’s Trust received this national accolade on June 21st at IMCA’s awards ceremony, held at the Hyatt Regency in Baltimore, Maryland.

For more than 50 years, the IMCA Showcase Awards recognize the most inventive and dynamic communications work from insurance companies across the nation at their annual awards ceremony. Both IMCA members and non-members are able to apply for the awards. This year, the IMCA received nearly 300 submissions from insurance companies across the United States.


In the External Corporate and Marketing Communications categories, People’s Trust was awarded two Awards of Excellence, one for the People’s Trust invitations for its George’s Place event at the 2015 Florida Association of Independent Agents (FAIA) convention, and the second for the new People’s Trust website. Awards of Excellence are submissions that placed within the top three entries in their categories. The Policyholder Welcome Kit earned People’s Trust the Best in Show award in the Marketing and Communications category, meaning it not only received a top-percentile score but also was the top entry in its category.
