DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – People’s Trust Insurance, a Florida-based home insurance company, is proud to sponsor the Deerfield Beach High School Clothing and Hygiene Bank for students in need.

Deerfield Beach High School started off the new school year and recognized the deep need to create a hygiene bank for underprivileged students to get items they need to become more successful at school. The bank will be stocked with hygiene products including: shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, clothing, and any other items that contribute to a student’s overall hygiene. Students in need will be able to take items from the bank by working with the school Social Worker.

Principal Jon Marlow said, “Hygiene and health are intimately interwoven, and poor hygiene is an inevitable result of homelessness. Establishing proper hygiene is key to a strong or good sense of self and better health, and it helps students better focus on school and their education."

Amy Rosen, Chief Marketing Officer of People’s Trust Insurance Company said, “Deerfield Beach High School is a part of our community and we are happy to help provide funding for this important cause. These kids are trying to better themselves, and we are happy to help provides tools so they can focus on their education.”
